Refund Policy

At Wayfinder International, we work hard to provide clear, personalized, high-quality relocation guidance for every client. This Refund Policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are handled for all services booked through our website or scheduling platform.

Our goal is to be fair, transparent, and respectful of your time—and ours.

1. General Refund Policy

Because our services involve customized research, one-on-one consultations, and tailored recommendations, most services are non-refundable once work has begun.

However, we understand that plans change, and we outline all options below.

2. Cancellations Before Work Begins
You are eligible for a full refund if:
  • You cancel within 24 hours of booking, and

  • We have not yet started reviewing your questionnaire, conducting research, or preparing your report.

If any work has started, the cancellation will follow the “Partial Refunds” guidelines below.

3. Rescheduling Appointments

You may reschedule your Zoom appointment at no cost if:

  • You provide at least 24 hours’ notice, and

  • You choose a new appointment time within the next 30 days.

If you miss your appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice:

  • The session is considered a no-show, and

  • It is non-refundable.

You may book a new session separately if needed.

4. No-Show Appointments

If you do not attend your scheduled appointment and do not provide notice:

  • The session is non-refundable, and

  • We cannot apply the fee toward future bookings.

No exceptions are made for no-shows, as this time is reserved exclusively for you.

5. Partial Refunds for Tiered Services

For Tier 1, Tier 2, or Tier 3 services, partial refunds may be available only if work has not been completed.

Refunds are calculated as follows:

  • If no research has begun: 75% refund

  • If preliminary research has begun: 50% refund

  • If the questionnaire has been reviewed and meeting preparation has started: 25% refund

  • If the report or recommendations are already in progress or completed:
    → No refund available

Once the customized country or city packet has been delivered, the service is considered fully rendered.

 
6. Tier 3 Concierge Services

Due to the extensive planning, personalized guidance, and third-party coordination involved in Tier 3:

  • All payments are non-refundable once the onboarding call is completed.

If you need to discontinue the service early:

  • We will continue to support you for the portion of the service period that remains, but no refund will be issued.

 
7. Dissatisfaction With Recommendations

Our recommendations are based on:

  • The information you share

  • Your questionnaire responses

  • Your priorities

  • Safety, healthcare, and lifestyle data

  • Our professional expertise

 

Because relocation involves many personal factors and conditions can change over time, we do not offer refunds based on disagreement with or dissatisfaction about the recommendations.

We welcome follow-up questions and clarifications at any time.

 
8. Gifted or Discounted Services

Introductory prices, discounted packages, and gifted services are non-refundable.

However, they may be rescheduled with 24 hours’ notice.

 
9. How to Request a Refund

We will review and respond within 3 business days.

10. Changes to This Policy

Wayfinder International may update this Refund Policy at any time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with an updated “Effective Date.”
